Rest In Peace Not In Vain

Generation Outside members today were deeply saddened 16/10/2016 to be called to service (yet again) to provide legal and support services to a newly widowed young Afghan mother (traveling with their 4 year child and other family members) living in the Arrivals section at Elliniko Camp for the last 5 months.

The unfortunate news was delivered while escorting the family to identify the young Afghan refugee at a nearby hospital in Voula, after being discovered early this morning by the local coastguard. Please send your prayers as we go forward in assisting the family to respectively bury the young man with dignity, valuing their journey and effort to make a better life for themselves and to all the refugees we stand with you and honor you. Thank you City Plaza for the image and kind words and service you provide together with all people.
